Hackham West Community Centre offers a wide range of programs and activities designed to support learning, wellbeing, and connection within our local community. Our programs run throughout each school term and cater to people of all ages, interests, and abilities.

For one-off events, special workshops, and less frequent activities, please visit our News and Events page. This page is regularly updated with upcoming opportunities, celebrations, and community events.

Term Programs and Updates

Most of our regular activities operate during the school term. The best way to stay up to date with everything happening at the Centre is by reading our Newsletter, which provides a full overview of current programs, courses, and events. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram to hear about pop-up activities, last-minute opportunities, and special events throughout the term.

Partnerships and Community Connections

Hackham West Community Centre works closely with local organisations, service providers, and community groups to deliver a diverse range of programs and activities. We also share information about events and opportunities happening across the local community.

If you are interested in partnering with HWCC to deliver a program, workshop, or community activity, please contact our Community Development Officer (CDO) to discuss opportunities.

Volunteer-Led Programs

Many of our programs and activities are made possible by the dedication of local volunteers who give their time and skills to support their community. These volunteer-led activities help ensure our programs remain welcoming, affordable, and responsive to community needs.

If you have an idea for a new activity, would like to see a particular course offered, or are interested in getting involved, we encourage you to get in touch or drop in for a chat. Your ideas help shape what we offer.

Funding and Accessibility

Some of our programs and courses are funded, helping to keep activities affordable and accessible for the community. Please explore the individual program listings for details about costs, funding, and eligibility.

Get in Touch

To learn more about our programs and activities, discuss partnership opportunities, or suggest a new idea, please contact the Community Development Officer (CDO) on (08) 8384 1065 or visit us during opening hours.
