The development of the bush tucker garden is a project designed to incorporate a traditional (Kaurna) flora landscape setting with modern garden settings. The combination of these features is to develop a project at the Centre that can be used by community members to relax, reflect and coexist as a multicultural demographic society. The Bush Tucker Garden is also an opportunity to acknowledge the landscape of the traditional custodians of the land in the Onkaparinga Council area through the garden features of traditional bush garden shrubbery.
