First Monday of Each Month | 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Come along, grab a coffee and chat to workers from Uniting Communities Law Centre and Mission Australia about:

  • Your NDIS plan or applying to the NDIS
  • Your disability needs
  • Connecting with local community groups, programs and services
  • Problems with loans and credit cards
  • Problems and disputes with Centrelink

This is a free event and everyone is invited to come along! There is no need to book, just drop in.

Families4Families is a multi-award winning not for profit registered company assisting over 490 members and their families navigate acquired brain injury adept to their new lives. We have some of the most vulnerable and they can access our assistance at no cost to themselves.

Mission Australia NDIS Information Hub

Wednesdays | 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Mission Australia Local Area Coordinators (LAC) work with people with a disabilityand their families. Our LAC team has three key roles:

  • Linking you to the NDIS
  • Linking you to the information and support in the community
  • Working with your local community to make sure it is more welcoming and inclusive for people with a disability.

Drop in to see the friendly Carers SA team at the Centre on Thursday mornings to chat about support that may be available for you.

 

Carers Support Group

First Wednesday of Each Month | 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

Carers SA provides services and support to people caring for a family member or friend who have a:

  • Disability
  • Mental Illness
  • Long term health condition or terminal illness
  • Alcohol or drug related dependency
  • Dementia
  • Frailty due to age

Carers can access free services and support by Carers SA and the Carer Gateway.

Narcotics Anonymous

Fridays | 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

If you think you might have a drug problem and want to stop using, we can help.

Narcotics Anonymous is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem.
We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean.
We have found through our group experience that the therapeutic value of one addict helping another is without parallel.

Southside Beginners Meeting welcomes you to our meeting held at Hackham West Community Centre at 12:30 pm on Fridays.
