Adult Education Services

9:30 am – 11:30 am

Adult Education Services is an education program for both young and mature aged people who have been unemployed for a significant amount of time.

Learn vocabulary, grammar, everyday conversation, real life reading, life skills, academic competencies, English as a second language, practising for your L’s online, and more.

Adult Education Services is funded through the ACE Program, as part of the Government of South Australia’s WorkReady Initiative.

 

Introduction to Business Admin

Starts 6th Feb | 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm | Free

Do you know what it would be like to work in an office? Come along and find out if a career in business admin is for you! This introductory course will give you a taste of the communication skills you’ll need to work as an administration assistant and the tasks you might perform.

This course offers a unit from the Foundation Skills Training Package : FSKOCKM03 Participate in Simple Spoken Interactions at Work

Free creche is available. Bookings are essential for this course and for creche.

 

Art Workshop

12:30 pm – 2:30 pm | Gold Coin Donation

Come along and learn how to use paints, pastels and pencils to create various forms of artwork such as landscapes, portraits and abstract art. Some materials are provided.

Creative Crafters

12:45 pm – 2:45 pm | $2 Per Session

Come and join this fun and social group to learn how to crochet, make cards, scrapbook, knit and sew. Great for crafters of all skill levels.
