This course will help improve your English language, reading and writing skills, maths, and IT, whilst developing key skills to increase your employment opportunities in a fun and practical way. Topics covered include:

  • Employment (job roles, application forms, personal statements, and job interviews)
  • Social Interactions (arranging playdates, helping with children’s homework, day to day interactions)
  • Accessing other services (medical, support agencies, myGov)

After completing this course, you will achieve FSKOCM02 Engage in Basic Spoken Exchanges at Work from the Foundational Skills National Training Package.

Have you ever thought about volunteering for an organisation or cause, but are unsure of where to start or what you would like to do? Join us as we explore all things volunteering! This free course will introduce you to different types of organisations and volunteer job roles.

After completing this course, you will achieve FSKOCM03 Engage in Simple Spoken Interactions at Work from the Foundational Skills National Training Package.

Introduction to Working in a Business Environment

Would you like to increase your confidence before returning to the workforce or undertaking study in business-related training?

This free course gives you a great stepping stone in a friendly small group environment. The course covers: interacting effectively with others at work, customer service, working effectively in a business environment, working effectively in a team, effective resume and application letter writing.

This course offers a unit from the Foundation Skills Training Package : FSKOCM03 Participate in Simple Spoken Interactions at Work from the Foundational Skills National Training Package.

Women’s Network

Come along and be part of Women’s Network, a dynamic group for women aged 18-65 years. We are all about:

  • Developing life skills and confidence in a fun and relaxed environment.
  • Inspiring the group with guest speakers about career and personal success.
  • Developing the group with interactive skills-based classes that deepen personal development and internal/external networks. Classes cover topics from communication styles and networking skills, through to charisma, self-esteem, and personal resilience.
  • Connecting the group to like-minded peers, external networks, and staff.
